Existence of God

The Borde- Guth- Vilenkin theorem in physical cosmology. According to Alexandra Vilenkin, a professor of Evolutionary science and Director of institute of cosmology at Tufts University, which deduce that any universe that has on average been expanding throughout  history cannot be infinite. In the past, it must have past space-time boundaries. The implication of this theorem is that the universe is not eternal, it began at a point before physical time began and that the universe has not always existed and that the universe cannot be infinite which means it is not forever, it will come to an end one day. If the universe is not eternal, that means it was created. This theorem disannulled and disproved the Big Bang theory about creation. The question is no longer about  how the creation comes about? It is about  who created the universe? Firstly  must be transcendent, according to Oxford dictionary of current English it means, going beyond normal or physical human experience. Second mean

God is timeless and not bound by time

Some pastors teach that God is God of now now, they quote scriptures like the expectations of the righteous man can not be cut shot. The question is, what is the expectation of the righteous man? Food, clothing, what exactly is the righteous man expecting? We have been so deceived to believe that God is moved by our prayers, praise, and other religious activities to do things or go out of His way for such people. Some say that if God didn't answer your prayers, praise Him more, and His head will swell up such that  your praise will move Him to do your biddings. God is not mocked, and He is not a man that you can psyche or be influenced by your religious activities. We experience things through our physical senses. Our eyes capture the light reflected from physical objects. Our ears pick up the vibrations from sound waves. Our fingertips gauge the texture and hardness of the things we touch. We live in a physical world which is bound by space and time, but God, however, dwells in a

Our choices

God’s hands are opened so wide for us to embrace in salvation, which is why the word "RECKLESS" was used to describe His love to humanity.    He is sovereign, and He is the creator, but does not mean He controls our affairs, He gave us freewill ability to make our own choices. Some choices we make have  blinded us from seeing God’s essence in our existence. God’s foreknowledge means He knows everything that will happen now, tomorrow and ever, but note He does not control our choices.  The scriptures describe how God knows us even right Jeremiah1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart, and I appointed you as a prophet to the nations”.  Luke12:7 “even the hairs of your head are all numbered”.  God did not create a robotic man with artificial intelligence. The man God created has a freewill and can make choices. This was responsible for Eve’s decision. If God has control over our choices, that means we do not have freewill and we can

Does God control everything

God is sovereign in all things, He created heaven and earth, He made all things, He knows all things, He is the Supreme God and the source of all power and authority. He is the Alpha and Omega. Religion has resulted in the invention of a new meaning for the word "sovereign," which basically means God controls everything. The way sovereignty" is taught today is a real faith killer, unfortunately this is the doctrine that is being preached in some of our churches. There is absolutely nothing that happened in the universe that God does not know about, as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, He has no limitations. God is sovereign but He does not applaud all things that happen, reason may not be apparent to you but He certainly permits them and work out something good. God works not just some things, but all things according to the counsel of His own will, Eph1:11.All things work together for our good does not mean that God is behind the bad situation but God does permi

Sovereignty of God in our salvation Does one's mind just respond to salvation after hearing the message? What causes Conviction in the mind of a sinner? Can he just get born-again of his own accord? Who is the agent responsible for conviction in one's mind? Salvation is strictly God's affair, Romans9.

God's sovereignty in our salvation God's sovereignty in salvation means that He saves whom He will, and those whom He saves owe nothing to anything in or of themselves. We are saved because God graciously chose to save us out of His own will. We cannot even take credit for that because it is the gift that He Himself sovereignly bestows. Psalm 115:3 “Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him”. (NIV) Romans 9:20 “But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?”(NIV) Part of God's sovereignty is that despite our unworthiness, he chooses to love and save us anyway. He gives everyone the freedom to accept or reject His love. The average preacher man’s pulpit conveys the impression that it lies wholly in the power of the sinner whether or not he shall be saved. It is said that "God has done His part, now man must do his”. Come to think of it, what can a lifeless man do,

Sovereignty of God The Sovereignty of God is the biblical teaching that all things are under God's rule and control, and that nothing happens without His direction or permission. God works not just some things but all things according to the counsel of His own will Eph. 1:11. His purposes are all-inclusive and never thwarted Isa. 46:11; nothing takes Him by surprise. The sovereignty of God is not merely that God has the power and right to govern all things, but that He does so, always and without exception. In other words, God is not merely sovereign in principle, but sovereign in practice. Sovereignty of God is the supremacy of God, the kingship of God, the god-hood of God. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that God is God. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is the Most High, doing according to His will. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is the Almighty, the Possessor of all power in Heaven and earth, so that none can defeat His counsels
